Vice President of Flash Programming and Graphic Design

Samuel Roach is a manager providing application development for the Schematic Boston office. Sam has won numerous awards for his art direction, Flash programming, illustration, copywriting and animation. Awards include those from Communication Arts Advertising Annual, Cannes Cyberlions, One Show Awards, Hatch Awards, and MIMIC.

Prior to working at Schematic, Sam was the senior programmer and art director at Beam Interactive. Charged with building, maintaining and tracking MINIUSA.com, Sam also created or supported all online media campaigns including, downloadable desktop applications, video streams, and flash banners.

Sam's Clients have included BMW/MINIUSA.com, Puma, Comcast, Fidelity Investments, Hasbro, and Wallstreet Journal.

Sam has taught courses in design fundamentals, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Quark Express, and Flash at the New England Art Institute and Clark University.
